As an Associate Aerospace Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the aerospace engineering team works. This position is based in Springfield, MA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Springfield office.
What you’ll do
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
- Run stress, thermal and dynamics analyses
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance may be required
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS
Nice to have
- Composite structures experience
- Experience with FAA certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Springfield, MA is $97,000 – $124,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
