We are hiring an Associate Aerospace Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team in Cedar Rapids. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Cedar Rapids location.
What you’ll do
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Solid understanding of aerospace structures or systems
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance may be required
- Strong technical documentation skills
Nice to have
- Experience with FAA certification
- Composite structures experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Cedar Rapids, IA is $76,000 – $96,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
