As an Aerospace Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the aerospace engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
- Run stress, thermal and dynamics analyses
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance may be required
- Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS
Nice to have
- Experience with FAA certification
- Composite structures experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $137,000 – $175,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
