Our Montgomery office is growing, and we need an Aerospace Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative aerospace engineering group and report to the aerospace engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Montgomery office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
- Run stress, thermal and dynamics analyses
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Solid understanding of aerospace structures or systems
- Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS
- Strong technical documentation skills
Nice to have
- Experience with FAA certification
- Composite structures experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Montgomery, AL is $106,000 – $134,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
