As an Aerospace Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the aerospace engineering team works. This position is based in Irving, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Irving location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
- Run stress, thermal and dynamics analyses
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Solid understanding of aerospace structures or systems
- Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS
- Strong technical documentation skills
Nice to have
- Experience with FAA certification
- Composite structures experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Irving, TX is $109,000 – $138,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
