Aerospace Engineer Intern

The employer is looking for an Aerospace Engineer Intern in Oxnard, CA. In this role you will gain hands-on experience alongside an experienced aerospace engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Oxnard office.
What you’ll do
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
- Run stress, thermal and dynamics analyses
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Solid understanding of aerospace structures or systems
- Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance may be required
Nice to have
- Experience with FAA certification
- Composite structures experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oxnard, CA is $36 – $43 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
