We are hiring an Aerospace Engineer Intern to join our aerospace engineering team in Montgomery. You will gain hands-on experience on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Montgomery location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance may be required
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS
Nice to have
- Experience with FAA certification
- Composite structures experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Montgomery, AL is $28 – $33 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
