As an Associate Network Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Richmond, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Richmond location.
What you’ll do
- Document network designs and standards
- Automate network changes with Python and Ansible
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Design, build and support enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Clear documentation habits
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms
- Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF)
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud networking
- CCNP or CCIE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Richmond, CA is $89,000 – $114,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
