The employer is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Allentown, PA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Allentown location.
What you’ll do
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- CAD skills for fixture design
- Strong problem-solving ability
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Allentown, PA is $81,000 – $103,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
