As an Associate Civil Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Hampton, VA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Hampton location.
What you’ll do
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Strong technical writing skills
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Hampton, VA is $70,000 – $89,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
