As an Associate Field Service Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Ann Arbor office.
What you’ll do
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Ann Arbor, MI is $55,000 – $70,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
