As a Chemical Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the chemical engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Take part in process hazard analyses
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of process safety
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
- Strong analytical skills
Nice to have
- PE license
- Pilot plant experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $123,000 – $157,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
