We are hiring a Data Engineer to join our data engineering team in Oceanside. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Oceanside location.
What you’ll do
- Model data in dbt so analysts and data scientists can rely on it
- Work with stakeholders to turn reporting needs into data products
- Optimize warehouse cost and query performance
- Build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines into the data warehouse
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of dimensional data modeling
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse
- Strong SQL and Python skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Spark or Flink
- Experience with data contracts or data observability tools
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oceanside, CA is $137,000 – $174,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
