As a Software Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Corpus Christi, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Corpus Christi office.
What you’ll do
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Corpus Christi, TX is $112,000 – $143,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
