Our El Paso office is growing, and we need a DevOps Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our El Paso location.
What you’ll do
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
Nice to have
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Experience with service meshes
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in El Paso, TX is $115,000 – $146,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
