The employer is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in San Francisco, CA. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Francisco office.
What you’ll do
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving ability
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Experience with automation and robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $140,000 – $178,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
