We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer Intern to join our software engineering team in Los Angeles. You will gain hands-on experience on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Los Angeles office.
What you’ll do
- Lead incident response and write blameless post-incident reviews
- Define service level objectives with product teams and track error budgets
- Improve the observability stack: metrics, logs and traces
- Build tooling that removes toil from operations work
- Run capacity planning and load testing for critical services
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with modern observability tooling
- Experience operating large-scale production systems
- Deep Linux and networking fundamentals
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated or high-availability environment
- Experience with chaos engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $42 – $49 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
