We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our software engineering team in Visalia. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Visalia location.
What you’ll do
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Visalia, CA is $143,000 – $183,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
