The employer is an avionics company developing flight displays and navigation systems.
Our Albuquerque office is growing, and we need a Systems Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative systems engineering group and report to the systems engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Albuquerque location.
What you’ll do
- Define interfaces and maintain interface control documents
- Lead technical reviews with customers and suppliers
- Develop and manage system and subsystem requirements
- Plan and track verification and validation activities
- Build system models in SysML
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong written communication
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama
Nice to have
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
- INCOSE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Albuquerque, NM is $99,000 – $126,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
