The employer is looking for a Transportation Engineer in Allen, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Allen office.
What you’ll do
- Perform traffic impact and signal timing studies in Synchro
- Design signing, striping and maintenance-of-traffic plans
- Present findings at public meetings
- Prepare plans, specifications and estimates for DOT projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads or Civil 3D
- Knowledge of MUTCD and AASHTO standards
- Experience with traffic analysis software
Nice to have
- PE or PTOE certification
- Experience on state DOT projects
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Allen, TX is $89,000 – $113,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
