Our Grand Prairie office is growing, and we need an Associate Civil Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Grand Prairie office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Strong technical writing skills
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Grand Prairie, TX is $67,000 – $86,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
