As an Associate Mechanical Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Lincoln, NE. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Lincoln location.
What you’ll do
- Run tolerance stack-ups and apply GD&T to drawings
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing on design for manufacturability
- Perform FEA and hand calculations to validate designs
- Manage engineering change orders and documentation
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Understanding of common manufacturing processes
- Hands-on prototyping and testing experience
- Working knowledge of GD&T
Nice to have
- Experience with injection molding or sheet-metal design
- Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Lincoln, NE is $66,000 – $84,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
