As an Associate Software Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Los Angeles office.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $112,000 – $142,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
