We are hiring a Reliability Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Laredo. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Laredo location.
What you’ll do
- Track and report on equipment availability and mean time between failures
- Run predictive maintenance programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis)
- Analyze failure data and lead root-cause investigations
- Improve preventive maintenance plans in the CMMS
- Develop reliability-centered maintenance strategies for critical equipment
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in an industrial maintenance or reliability role
- Experience with a CMMS such as SAP PM or Maximo
- Data analysis skills
Nice to have
- CMRP certification
- Vibration analyst certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Laredo, TX is $57 – $69 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
