Our New York office is growing, and we need an Associate DevOps Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
Nice to have
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $112,000 – $143,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
