As an HVAC Design Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Overland Park, KS. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Overland Park office.
What you’ll do
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Support construction administration and commissioning
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience producing construction documents
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- Strong coordination skills
Nice to have
- LEED AP credential
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Overland Park, KS is $76,000 – $97,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
