As a Principal Electrical Engineer with the employer, you will set technical direction and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Oklahoma City office.
What you’ll do
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oklahoma City, OK is $130,000 – $166,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
