Project Engineer Intern

The employer is looking for a Project Engineer Intern in Miami, FL. In this role you will gain hands-on experience alongside an experienced construction engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Miami location.
What you’ll do
- Support closeout documentation
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Comfort working on active job sites
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Miami, FL is $20 – $23 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
