The employer is looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer in Portland, OR. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Portland location.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Portland, OR is $91,000 – $115,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
