We are hiring a Transportation Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Charleston. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Charleston location.
What you’ll do
- Design signing, striping and maintenance-of-traffic plans
- Design roadway, intersection and multimodal improvements
- Present findings at public meetings
- Perform traffic impact and signal timing studies in Synchro
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with traffic analysis software
- Experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads or Civil 3D
- Strong written communication
Nice to have
- PE or PTOE certification
- Experience on state DOT projects
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Charleston, SC is $86,000 – $109,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
