We are hiring an Associate HVAC Design Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in New York. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- Strong coordination skills
- Experience with load calculation software
- Experience producing construction documents
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $81,000 – $103,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
