We are hiring a Principal RF Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in New York. You will set technical direction on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Calculate link budgets and system requirements
- Measure performance with network and spectrum analyzers
- Support FCC and carrier certification testing
- Design and characterize RF front ends and antennas
- Simulate RF circuits in Keysight ADS or HFSS
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to troubleshoot at the board level
- Strong RF and microwave fundamentals
- Experience with RF simulation tools
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with phased arrays
- Graduate degree with an RF focus
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $206,000 – $262,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
