We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our software engineering team in Buffalo. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Buffalo location.
What you’ll do
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
Nice to have
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Buffalo, NY is $129,000 – $164,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
