Associate Project Engineer

The employer is a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm serving public agencies and private developers.
As an Associate Project Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the construction engineering team works. This position is based in Fargo, ND. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Fargo location.
What you’ll do
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Support closeout documentation
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
- Comfort working on active job sites
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fargo, ND is $33 – $41 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
