As a Field Service Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Virginia Beach office.
What you’ll do
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Virginia Beach, VA is $75,000 – $96,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
