The employer is looking for a Senior Process Engineer in Arlington, TX. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Arlington location.
What you’ll do
- Monitor and optimize unit operations for yield, quality and cost
- Lead process hazard analyses and management-of-change reviews
- Run designed experiments to improve process capability
- Develop P&IDs, mass balances and process documentation
- Troubleshoot production issues with operations and maintenance
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Strong chemical engineering fundamentals
- Data analysis skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Six Sigma certification
- Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Arlington, TX is $109,000 – $139,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
