We are hiring an Associate Power Systems Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in Augusta. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Augusta location.
What you’ll do
- Perform load flow, short circuit and arc flash studies
- Prepare drawings and specifications for utility projects
- Support interconnection studies for renewable generation
- Design substation, distribution and protection systems
- Develop relay settings and coordination studies
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of NEC, IEEE and NERC standards
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with ETAP, PSS/E or SKM
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with battery storage or solar interconnection
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Augusta, GA is $70,000 – $89,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
