Our Vallejo office is growing, and we need a Biomedical Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative biomedical engineering group and report to the biomedical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Vallejo location.
What you’ll do
- Support regulatory submissions
- Design and develop medical devices under design controls
- Write verification and validation protocols and reports
- Work with clinicians to gather user needs
- Maintain risk management files
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in a regulated medical device environment
- CAD skills
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA design controls
Nice to have
- Experience with Class II or Class III devices
- Experience with 510(k) submissions
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Vallejo, CA is $104,000 – $133,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
