The employer is looking for a Data Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced data engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Oklahoma City office.
What you’ll do
- Model data in dbt so analysts and data scientists can rely on it
- Optimize warehouse cost and query performance
- Build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines into the data warehouse
- Work with stakeholders to turn reporting needs into data products
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with an orchestration tool such as Airflow or Dagster
- Understanding of dimensional data modeling
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse
Nice to have
- Experience with Spark or Flink
- Experience with data contracts or data observability tools
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oklahoma City, OK is $106,000 – $134,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
