We are hiring a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in Fort Worth. You will set technical direction on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Fort Worth office.
What you’ll do
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fort Worth, TX is $92 – $112 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
