We are hiring an Associate Security Engineer to join our software engineering team in Lowell. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Lowell office.
What you’ll do
- Support compliance work such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits
- Harden cloud identity and access management
- Build detections and respond to security incidents
- Manage vulnerability scanning and drive remediation with engineering teams
- Run threat models and security reviews for new features and infrastructure
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
- Scripting ability in Python or a similar language
- Experience in application, cloud or infrastructure security
- Working knowledge of common attack techniques and defenses
Nice to have
- Experience with container security
- Security certifications such as OSCP, CISSP or GIAC
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Lowell, MA is $106,000 – $135,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
