The employer is looking for a DevOps Engineer in Oceanside, CA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Oceanside location.
What you’ll do
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
Nice to have
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oceanside, CA is $146,000 – $185,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
