The employer is looking for a Materials Engineer in St. Louis, MO. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced materials engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our St. Louis location.
What you’ll do
- Support suppliers with process and material issues
- Perform failure analysis on returned and field components
- Select and qualify materials for new product designs
- Write material specifications and test reports
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of metals, polymers or composites
- Strong report writing
- Laboratory experience
Nice to have
- Experience with additive manufacturing
- Graduate degree in materials science
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in St. Louis, MO is $88,000 – $112,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
