The employer is looking for an Associate Site Reliability Engineer in Los Angeles, CA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Los Angeles office.
What you’ll do
- Improve the observability stack: metrics, logs and traces
- Lead incident response and write blameless post-incident reviews
- Run capacity planning and load testing for critical services
- Build tooling that removes toil from operations work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Deep Linux and networking fundamentals
- Experience with modern observability tooling
- Proficiency in Go, Python or a similar language
Nice to have
- Experience with chaos engineering
- Experience in a regulated or high-availability environment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $115,000 – $146,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
