The employer is looking for an Associate Structural Engineer in Overland Park, KS. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Overland Park location.
What you’ll do
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Strong hand-calculation skills
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
- Seismic design experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Overland Park, KS is $66,000 – $83,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
