As an Associate Transportation Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Aurora, CO. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Aurora office.
What you’ll do
- Perform traffic impact and signal timing studies in Synchro
- Present findings at public meetings
- Prepare plans, specifications and estimates for DOT projects
- Design signing, striping and maintenance-of-traffic plans
- Design roadway, intersection and multimodal improvements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with traffic analysis software
- Experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads or Civil 3D
- Knowledge of MUTCD and AASHTO standards
Nice to have
- Experience on state DOT projects
- PE or PTOE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Aurora, CO is $73,000 – $93,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
