The employer is looking for an Energy Engineer in San Antonio, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced energy engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Antonio office.
What you’ll do
- Run measurement and verification of completed projects
- Write reports and present results to clients
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with energy modeling tools
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with incentive programs
- CEM or PE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Antonio, TX is $85,000 – $108,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
