We are hiring a Senior Chemical Engineer to join our chemical engineering team in Phoenix. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Phoenix office.
What you’ll do
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with process simulation software
- Understanding of process safety
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- PE license
- Pilot plant experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Phoenix, AZ is $114,000 – $145,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
