The employer is looking for a Chemical Engineer in New York, NY. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Support capital projects through commissioning
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of process safety
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
Nice to have
- Pilot plant experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $122,000 – $155,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
