The employer is a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm serving public agencies and private developers.
We are hiring a Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in El Paso. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our El Paso location.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in El Paso, TX is $54 – $66 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
